Lot 740 Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Hammer .38

SN: 50356 'Second Model' Antique D.A. top-break revolver chambered for black powder ammunition, circa 1896-1908. Features a blued finish, 5" ribbed barrel, round blade front sight, 'u' notched rear sight, fluted five-shot cylinder, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur and fancy checkered two-piece black hard rubber grips with owl's head decor. Revolver exhibits approximately 40% of it's blued finish with the balance of the metal surfaces turned to a born patina displaying some light scattered pin prick pitting. Action is smooth with tight lock-up, bore is good and hard rubber grips are very good. Condition is fine. ***Antique Firearm***
